Just in time for summer...

So now that it is finally getting warm I've finished the last winter scarf for the winter of 2010 anyway. I call this scarf my Cyrus Scarf because it was knit while I was glued to the DVD player watching the past three seasons of Law and Order. I sort of fell under the spell (thanks to my neighbor Eleanor) of Detective Cyrus Lupo on the series and what goes together better than mild-and-passing lust and knitting?

Anyway, the scarf is beautiful. I intend to block it but even unblocked I love the look. It is the same pattern as my Scrapbag Stole in my knitting book and is knit from 2 skeins of Noro's Silk Garden sock yarn. It is a wool/silk blend and the colors are scrumptious. Looks good on him, dontcha think?

So, well, the scarf is done and so are three seasons of Law & Order. Time to find a new project and a new fascination.

Love the photo edit! Beautiful scarf on a beautiful man! I am enjoying My Last Romance. I downloaded it on my Kindle a few weeks ago. I love how the stories go across time periods, across age.
Very vivid and above all, passionate!

Thank you, Elizabeth! Yes, he is a beautiful man.

I'm so glad you are enjoying My Last Romance. Of all the characters I've ever created, Ruby in the title story is the closest to my heart. In many ways she is my alter ego.
