Sometimes the weather around here just stuns me. We have been under a winter storm watch advisory since yesterday and today around noon I was out at Good Harbor Beach --- the tide was amazing. The beach was completely covered and the bridge had waves crashing against it. The tidal marsh was full all the way up to Stop and Shop's parking lot. My friend Clare and I did our grocery shopping and then came home to hunker down until it is over but thanks to some excellent local photographers, you can see what's going on here. These two are from Jay Albert. There are more on his blog at http://capeannimages.blogspot.com/2010/01/flood-tide-and-snowy-ride.html
